Those warm summer days...

Were few and far between this summer, weren't they? It's so hard to believe it's September. It surely came in holding the fall season over our heads! Which reminds me- my busiest couple of months every year is HERE NOW. So contact me as soon as possible to schedule your session before time fills up. I will be announcing mini sessions as they are finalized! 

This family allowed me some wonderful time following these two busy boys who loved to play and explore. Full sessions are great for such results!

This beauty graced my camera lens earlier this week. What a beautiful young lady, with great aspirations in life. It's so fulfilling for me to see these young adults spread their wings and find excitement in flying.

We made it to another Monday, what are YOU going to do with it?

Me? Well, I am all refreshed, energized and READY for some "work"... said loosely, because it's hard to call what you love WORK, but, alas, that is technically what it is. I have a fully loaded week ahead. If we are being honest, I would say I have a fully loaded SEPTEMBER ahead. Contact me now to get on my September schedule. It's filling FAST. Because of this strange weather we've had, it's harder this year for me to confirm our peak color change that is so highly sought. I am encouraging clients to get on my September and early October schedule though, to embrace the fall foliage. 

Apple/Pumpkin farm mini's are coming, as well as the Capital and various beautiful outdoor locations as well! Keep an eye and visit often the 'mini sessions' tab on top, which is dated with the date of the most recent update.

For now, enjoy some heartwarming smiles brought to you by this beautiful family, who graced the outdoor studio prior to my 2 week vacation, in which today is my first day back into office from! 

Thank you "W" Family. Always a pleasure working with you. You'd never guess the mosquito battle we had on our hands through this session.

Handsome Blondies

Sweetness overload

So,  I've cut back- almost given up on sugar lately. But, having the 'job' I do, definitely keeps the sweet factor high, regardless! Look at this beautiful baby girl! She was wide awake & calm the entire session, and absolutely the most sweetest, cutest baby doll!

KSP session locations are expanding!

This is a big deal to  me, because it's something I've wanted to do for awhile, but had some details to iron out first. In that, I had to patiently wait for the right time and opportunity to make it happen. 

My patience has paid off. And my clients get to benefit from it! 

KSP will be expanding session locations now to include the Lake WI, Baraboo, Devils Lake areas! This will be weekend session opportunities and many new venues. From lake, to beach, to wooded areas and brand new unthinkable spots! No additional charge to you for weekend sessions in these areas. 

Remember, KSP covers the greater Madison and Janesville areas and now (weekends) includes the greater WI Dells/Baraboo area as well! 

Contact me to to book your summer session, as spots will fill up fast!

Teen Invasion!

Ok guys.  I might be showing my age here a little. But, I have finally reached that milestone us photographers always think we will never reach... it's a timeline of our work and history. What is it? Photographing our very first clients as babies...watching them grow through the years, and eventually land on taking their senior photos. The blonde cutie here is one of those. Now that she's a cute lil sassy 14 year old, she wanted me to document her birthday and all the fun that comes with it, and her friends. But, she also reminded me of how important my 'job' is. What a wonderful career I am blessed with. The memory keeper. I get to document these moments and milestones for other families, to have for the rest of their lives. Thank you to the "G" family for the privilege of working with you all these years and now including your many friends along the way. You are such an enrichment to KSP! 

And now- here for your viewing and smiling pleasure- are some sassy teenagers who laughed the entire session and were more than adventurous and up for anything! Your gallery is loading and will be available to you soon! 

Also, I am not even a LITTLE sorry for the overshare of pics. This was a newish venture for me and I fully enjoyed it and look forward to more of them. It was too hard to decide which to show

Mr. Personality

Who says you can't embrace our rollercoaster from mother nature Wisconsin winters with photo sessions? Because, it's a thing you know. Its fun too! 

As Mr. Personality will show you- rain, snow, it doesn't matter. We make it a good time. 
He was slow to warm, but you'll see, by the end of our quick session he was RET.TO.GO. Left this dude with a smile and wanting more. Left momma with wet britches on the little guy, to have to change before their drive home.

Winter Mini Sessions!

Here is the OUTDOOR version. I do not recommend this for babies. This is more for toddlers and older children. We will stay warm - you have 15-20 minutes of enduring the beauty of Wisconsin! 
Bundle up in layers, or wear your great outdoor gear- bring a blanket, or some fun of your own (sleds for example!). 

The outdoor version will be announced soon - which is strongly recommended for babies and toddlers!
