Poll at the fanpage!

I am fully aware that some of my clients have no interest in Facebook but have begged me to keep up with the blog. I am happy to oblige!

When booking your session, which do you prefer?

random 15

I've received, in my asking people to send me emails of questions they would like me to answer every Wednesday, email after email asking me to tell a few random things about myself. I fell behind in my project but with all this down time, I feel there is no better time than the present to catch up on these projects.

So, here are my 15 [boring] random things about me that was requested.

15. My obsession with the color pink might be perceived as kind of concerning to some.

14. I find myself funny. Others really don't.

13. I'm not an open book until you get to know me. Then you can't get me to shut up.

12. I am one of 6 children in my family. I am also a twin. And I have 2 younger brothers who are also twins. One of those twins has twin daughters.

11. I am not at all athletic, but I am competitive.

10. I am always cold and can wear sweats in the middle of summer.

9. I used to love shopping. Now, it's a dreadful task.

8. Coffee is my best friend. Iced is better.

7. I love being home.

6. I have zero tolerance for fake.

5. I pray. A lot. I wear my beloved silver and diamond cross necklace or my serenity bracelet every day.

4. I have been married 10 years. My husband and I have 2 young daughters a year and a half apart in age. They are amazing little souls that I feel blessed to unwrap each and every day. I miss them when they are in school.

3. I do not like dogs. In fact I have an irrational fear of them. But I have 2 labs. One chocolate pup, 19 months old and one Black lab, 12 years old. I love them dearly though.

2. I could not live in town and stay sane. I am a country girl at heart.

1. I am a perfectionist to detail. Even with my work. If things aren't lined up perfectly or exactly the way it should be, it's not good enough to show anyone.

Update!

Wow, this poor little blog has been so neglected!

well, 3 weeks ago today I had my foot surgery. my long awaited, necessary foot surgery. And let me tell you - it has been the worst pain I have ever dealt with. I had a foot osteotomy and bone graft. Restructuring my foot and fusing the fractured bone back to good. I am sporting my 2nd cast since the surgery, the current one is hot pink! On March 22nd I have this cast removed, stitches removed and a new cast put on. Green maybe?? hmm... well... anyway this will be a long recovery and I am determined to do it right to avoid problems down the road.

But that won't stop me from the business. Trust me, I can't go long without playing photographer or designer. It's in my blood. :)

Speaking of facebook, don't be afraid to drop by and leave a message or ask about specific dates for an upcoming session... it's a tool in communications, use it :)

Also, more information is coming in the days/weeks ahead, but it's time for High School Senior sessions! I am looking for 2 models. One boy, on girl. No preference as far as school goes but obviously would like it to be local. Look for more info to come on facebook.

Sessions are being scheduled through August right now. April and May are almost completely booked and June is close as well. Don't forget the evening session options and check out the website for updated prices. A new website IS in the works and should launch soon. Also the Senior website is going to undergo a makeover as well.

See? LOTS going on here!! I can't wait for the upcoming months and what will be!
