Special! | Madison WI Photographer

You would think nothing is happening here at KSP these days. This poor little blog is rarely given attention. I am working hard on that. But in the meantime, facebook is where the action seems to be at this time.

Right now I wanted to announce the Spring Special coming up. It's a limited but FUN (And colorful!) opportunity, but you will have to act fast!

Call (608-212-6229) or email (kendrastoltz@gmail.com) me BY March 5th, 2010 to book your March, April or May 2010 portrait session and you receive a complimentary 5x10 custom designed storyboard collage. These little guys are fun! Put them on an easel and place on a desktop and voila! Instant cuteness!

Many samples are on facebook right now. But yours can be totally custom made to suit YOUR style and YOUR images.

and also, (this part is way cool!) You become an established client with this opportunity, so you save $50 for EVERY session you have thereafter with KSP!
(and also again, KSP is now the shortened version of Kendra Stoltz Photography <---- it gets to be a lot of typing otherwise!).

So... MY phone is on. My email is waiting for yours... what are YOU waiting for! (reminder that the OUTDOOR child portrait session season starts in April!)

Hope to hear from you soon, happy weekend to all!

who.what.where.when.why WEDNESDAY

Yes, you caught me. I've slacked on the bloggity blog blog blog. But have no fear, I'm still here!

Okay, so following true to my fun question of the day, I am hosting the who.what.where.when.why of Wednesday. This is where I will answer the who, what, where, when, why of the most frequently asked questions I receive related to my business.

Today let's start with the #1 WHY question:
WHY DON'T YOU USE OTHER MUSIC ON YOUR WEBSITE, like some of the most popular music that we hear?

ANSWER:
That's because, like photographs, music has copyright laws that we, the public and listeners need to abide by. Musicians must first give permission for others to use their music for their business or anything they would profit off of. Just as you cannot enter images taken by me as your own in photo competitions/contests, or alter, crop or otherwise distort my images as I possess complete control of my images and their appearances... musicians also possess the same rights. So while "it's a wonderful life" or something by Jack Johnson or any other famous and tearjerking song you hear might suit a photographers slideshow of images on their website - it's very illegal unless you have purchased the COPYRIGHT to the music.

I hope this answers one of the famous "Why's" of Wednesday questions I so often am asked. :) Have a Happy Wednesday! And also, have you found and joined the KSP fanpage on facebook?
